Beneficiaries

The Beneficiaries screen allows you to view your beneficiary information to insure that it is correct. This screen displays your primary and secondary or alternate nominated beneficiary information on file with SCERA.

To access the Beneficiaries screen, click on the Beneficiaries option in the left menu (below Benefit Information). The Beneficiaries screen appears.

Each of your beneficiaries is displayed with some or all of the following information:

• Name - Beneficiary's name.
• Date of Birth - Beneficiary's birth date.
• Designation - Designates the beneficiary as a primary, secondary or alternate beneficiary of the survivor benefit.
• Relationship - Beneficiary's relationship to you.
• Distribution Percent - Percentage of any survivor benefit the beneficiary is entitled to.
